The Washington Wizards have gone from a young rebuilding team to a locked up team with a low ceiling. The Wizards traded Rashard Lewis and the 46th pick for Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor. Now, unless they plan on swapping Emeka for a first round pick, this is not a smart move, due to the fact that their front court will be Nene and Okafor. With neither of them being a traditional 4 there will not be much movement up front.
Trevor Ariza gives them a nice swingman, but nothing special. On draft day it is greatly expected for them to draft Bradley Beal. The Washington Wizards will get as far as John Wall and Bradley Beal can take them, thats where the potential for this new look squad will be held.
